Principal's Message
Kia ora koutou
A warm welcome to our new students, whanau and staff who were welcomed at our Mihi Whakatau this week. We are delighted to have Mr Robert O'Neill join our team as a Learning Assistant, and Ms Alex Mcleay as a teacher and a new class has opened to accommodate our new entrants, with teachers Mrs Chantelle Masters and Mrs Jo Thomas
Our SHINE values of Succeed, Honour, Imagine, Nurture and Explore have been demonstrated in many ways over the last couple of weeks. Our tamariki have been enjoying their social science learning, crazy hair day was lots of fun, with everyone getting in behind this day and supporting such a good cause, and there are many sports, arts and cultural opportunities that children are participating in.
Please just a reminder that there are a few short weeks as we head to the end into the last four weeks of the term. School is closed tomorrow (30th May) for staff professional learning with all of our surrounding schools, and again on Monday (2nd June) for King's Birthday. This will be followed by Matariki on Friday the 20th of June and Teacher Parent Conversations on the last Friday before the school holidays (27th of June).
