Crazy Hair Day
Last Friday we celebrated Crazy Hair Day. It was a chance to let our hair down (or up in some cases), have a bit of fun while supporting a great cause. Staff and students alike embraced the fun and there were some pretty crazy creations. The day culminated in an assembly where we got to showcase some awesome hairstyles and we all watched Mr Green have his head shaved by some students from his class and Mr Williams. This was part of a fundraising effort for a member of the HNS whānau as per the last newsletter. It was such a fun way to bring joy to the school as well as outwork some of our SHINE values to show Nurture and Honour while also indulging in some crazy Imagine with the hairstyles.
We hope your child has managed to get all of the glitter out of their hair by now.
